On 02.07.2006  an awareness camp was organized for  women representatives of Panchayati Raj at Khusrupur block. In the awareness camp, issues related to the powers of Mukhia, ward members, Panchayat Samiti members, Constitution of Gram Sabha, its importance etc were covered in details.  This programme was aimed at ensuring maximum participation of Dalit women in Gram Sabha Meetings for their active involvement in Pachatyat level planning of schemes etc. In said Camp 52  women participated.
