The  programme is supported by Department For International Development, United Kingdom (DFID, UK)/Development Alternative, New Delhi and is implemented under the guidance of the lead NGO, Abhiyan, Patna.  BGVASS is one of the net work partners of its Poorest Area Civil Society Programme (PACS). It is intervening in 10 villages of Hulasganj Block of Jehanabad district of Bihar mainly for empowering women and making them self dependant and self reliant through entitlements realization, gender sensitization and ensuring women’s participation in local self-governance. The programme is now four years old.
